We are a community based group in Brighouse/Leeds in West Yorkshire set up amongst some friends who want to make a difference to our community. We are completely voluntary run and rely on fundraising to do our amazing work. We work predominantly with the homeless and isolated elderly people in our community.

Last December we hosted a three course Christmas meal and party at St John’s Divine Church, Rastrick. We served 80 elderly and isolated people, from the Calderdale area, be entertained, meet new similar like-minded people and have a three course Christmas Meal. We provided all the food, refreshments and entertainment and it was a true success. We hosted an Afternoon Tea party which was amazing and again we made lots of elderly people smile and gave them an afternoon to remember. We run a variety of other events to help combat loneliness throughout the year.

We feed the homeless every first and third Friday of every month in Leeds City Centre. We constantly collect donations such as socks, blankets, sleeping bags and tents along with warm clothing which we hand out. This again has become a huge success and we feed on average 100 homeless people each evening.

We are raising money from the dive as we need a minibus so we can take our isolated locals out shopping or on day trips, and to bring into the Centre. Also for transporting the homeless to and from the Centre to access hot showers, food, training and support. We aim to raise £10,000 to help buy a minibus.

Limitations of Tandem Skydiving
